The middle school will be hosting a 6th Grade Math Night on Tuesday, October 28th from 6-7 p.m. at the middle school. The goal of the meeting is to provide an introduction and overview of the new 6th grade math program, Go Math. The meeting will consist of two 25 minute presentations. The first will take place in the middle school cafeteria. This portion of the evening will focus on the variety of resources that Go Math offers and explain how parents can access the online portions of the program. The second 25 minute presentation parents will meet with their child’s math teacher. During this time your child’s math teacher will share how they implement the Go Math resources in their instruction.
We look forward to the opportunity to talk with you about your child’s education. Students achieve more when teachers and parents work together!
Each teacher is requesting parents to RSVP for the evening to ensure they can provide adequate seating/space for the number of parents attending. Your child should bring home the invitation for you to complete and return early this week. For your convenience, I have included the invitation below. Just click on the link to access the invitation. You can also email your child’s teacher to inform them that you will be attending.
