It’s time for the second round of Google CS First Clubs! Here are the descriptions for the clubs that will begin next week.
Have you ever been playing your favorite video game, and thought “I could make this so much better?” Join the Google CS First Game Design club to experiment with those ideas and make your own cool video games on the computer. Build a racing game, a maze game, a falling objects game, and more. Invite your friends to play with what you create in the CS First Game Design club. This club is for intermediate programmers with some prior experience with coding or completion of a previous Google First club. Game Design Club will meet on Tuesdays from 2:45-3:30 beginning 11/10.
Listen up for an exciting musical opportunity! Ever wonder how your favorite musicians build those driving beats or how those cool sound effects got into your favorite movie? You might be surprised to find out much of it involves programming on a computer. Join the Google CS First Music and Sound club to create music using a computer, just like the pros. In this club you’ll make musical art, host a talent show, and even create a computerized DJ mixer so you can throw out some wild beats and melodies of your own. This club does not require any prior coding experience. Music and Sound Club will meet on Wednesdays from 2:45-3:30 beginning 11/11.
If you would like more information or to sign-up for a club, please contact Mrs. Culp at ext. 20110.
