6th Grade Math Night

When: Thursday, October 5, 2017

Time: 6:30-7:30 pm

Place: CMS Cafeteria

The Cloverleaf 6th grade math teachers would like to invite you to our CMS 6th grade Math Night. Join us to learn about the Go Math program and how it’s being taught in your child’s classroom. The night will consist of the teachers talking about the Go Math! program and then the teachers will be showing you how your child is using the math program here at school and at home. We will also be briefly discussing a math tool your child is using called Moby Max. After this brief discussion, parents will have the opportunity to ask specific questions about the math program and how it works if questions weren’t answered during the presentation. Please understand that this is an opportunity to learn about the math programs being used here at CMS. If you have individual questions or concerns regarding your child, please contact your child’s math teacher or sign up for conferences on Oct. 26.

You may bring your own to device if you’d like to follow along with us as we walk through the presentation. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CHILD’S USERNAME AND PASSWORD THOUGH! It will be too time consuming to hand them all out to parents.

1st Quarter Interim

It is hard to believe that we have reached the interim date for the first quarter.  Teachers have updated grades building wide and you are encouraged to check your child’s academic progress using Progress Book.  If you have any questions, please contact the appropriate teacher.

Needed: Updated Student Medical and Emergency Contact Information

This post is in regards to updating your child’s medical and emergency contact information.  This process is now done online through the Back to School Portal. The Back to School Portal is located on the district website www.cloverleaflocal.org under the “Parent” tab.  Under the “Parent” tab, select the “Back to School Portal” from drop down menu.  Then, enter the login credentials for your child.  The credentials were provided in mailings this summer and again in late August.  If you no longer have the credentials please contact the middle school office at 330.302.0206 or 330.302.0207.

Updating your child’s medical and emergency contact information is required every year even if there have been no changes.

Up to date medical and emergency contact information ensures that your child remains safe during the school day.  Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Important Free/Reduced Lunch Application Information

There has been some confusion regarding how to submit a free/reduced lunch applications.  Our new online registration process has an option to click that you are interested in applying for free/reduced, however simply checking that option does not register you for free/reduced lunch.

This application process must be completed every year even if you qualified the previous year.

In order to apply for free/ reduced lunch, you must apply using the following steps.

  •         Visit the Cloverleaf Local Schools website at www.cloverleaflocal.org .
  •         Hover your cursor over the parent tab on the screen.
  •         Then select “free and reduced meal online application”.  This will then direct you to the online application where you will insert your household information.
  •         After submitting you will receive a confirmation number and your application will automatically be electronically submitted.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.  Please feel free to call the food service office at 330-302-0312 if you have any further questions/concerns.  Thank you.
