CMS has a New Assistant Principal!
This summer, Mr. Eric Smith pursued a high school assistant principal position at Copley High School. I know the decision to leave the Cloverleaf community was difficult for him. The middle school will miss his positive energy and his desire to serve our students and families. We wish him the best as he moves to his new position at Copley.
With that being said, I am very excited to introduce our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Kristina Yako. Mrs. Yako comes to CMS from Parma City Schools. She has a strong middle school background both in the classroom and in administration.
Over Mrs. Yako’s eight years in the classroom she taught grades 5-7 for Parma City Schools. During her time in the classroom she served as a Team Leader and Data Coach. Her effective leadership style and instructional knowledge was recognized by the district, and she was promoted to the role of Administrative Intern. Mrs. Yako has worked in this role for the past two years.
I am excited to welcome her to the Cloverleaf community, and I know she is eager to meet and get to know everyone as well.
