Parents if you have not collected your child’s personal items from the school by the end of today (May 29th) they will be discarded.
For any remaining school items that have not been returned (Chromebooks, textbooks, library, books, instruments, etc…) fees will be assessed to your child’s account. To avoid the added fees please reach out to the school to make accommodations to drop items off as soon as possible.
Thank you for all you have done over the past 9 weeks to support your child and our school.
Meet Kathryn Baughman, she is a sixth grade Language Arts teacher. She has been with Cloverleaf for 32 years. She is married with three daughters and one son-in-law and she is a 4th generation English teacher in her family. She loves working at Cloverleaf because of the staff and students. Kathryn chose education, because she wanted to teach since she was in the second grade.
As Mrs. Baughman heads into retirement at the end of the school year, we want to say thank you for your commitment to Cloverleaf School. The staff and students of CMS are so sad for Cloverleaf Middle School but so happy for you! We will miss your kind smile and conversations in the hallway each day. Congratulations!
The middle school staff is eager to get to welcome the incoming 6th graders for the 2020-2021 school year. We know transitions can be difficult. With that in mind, both middle school and elementary staff members have participated in several meetings over the past couple of weeks to get to know the students. The discussions have been important in allowing middle school teachers, counselors, and administrators to start building positive relationships with the students.
During typical times, there would be several opportunities for incoming 6th-grade students and families to visit the building and ask questions about the middle school. Unfortunately, we are not able to conduct the visits this year due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
One thing you will come to learn about the middle staff is that we love a challenge! So, we have changed our approach to ensure we can still get to know you, answer your questions, and have you see the building.
We are holding Zoom meetings with students and parents to say hello, and allow you to place a face with a name. These meetings also give students and parents the opportunity to get their questions answered. Our school counselor, Mrs. Esakov, will also be conducting a building tour through a video. That video will be shared soon…..Stay tuned for that!
We are very excited to welcome all of you to the middle school. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to meeting you in the fall. Take care!
One more thing…
