Hello CMS families! I hope this message finds you well and rested. As we head in to the new school year there is a great deal of change on many fronts that we will work hard to keep you informed about as information becomes available.
To this point we are still in the developmental stages of many details such as our building schedule, student schedules, and operating procedures for the building. Please know that safety is our number one priority in our planning. We will have some additional time to allow the district to plan for a safe and organized arrival of our students this fall because our first student day has been pushed back to September 8th.
The link below will take you to the district wide Frequently Asked Questions document located on the district website. If you have visited the link previously, please check back periodically, as the document is updated often.
A friendly reminder that Dr. Kubilus shared out a survey to our parents to complete that will inform the district of your education choice for your child of attending the physical school for classes or if you will have your child participate in the full online model. The deadline to complete this form is August 10th.
In addition to the information above, I want to update our families on a couple of changes in the middle school office. Mrs. Yako (Assist. Principal) and Mrs. Esakov (Counselor) took new positions in area districts. I would like to thank both Mrs. Yako and Mrs. Esakov for their commitment to our students in their time at Cloverleaf Middle School!
The new middle school Assistant Principal is Mrs. Shannon Trexler. She comes to Cloverleaf from Willets Middle School in Brunswick where she served as the Assistant Principal. In addition to Mrs. Trexler’s time in Brunswick, she was also an Assistant Principal at Upper Perkiomen in Pennsylvania and the Pickerington School Districts in Ohio. Her previous six years of administrative experience will serve CMS well.
Ms. Kayla Brooks is the new middle school counselor. Kayla is a 2010 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. Previously to being hired at CMS, Ms. Brooks was a school counselor in the Crestview School District. During the interview process, Kayla’s love and passion for the Cloverleaf students and community was evident!
