6th Grade Field Trip- Cleveland

We are excited to announce a new field trip for our 6th graders!  We will be traveling to Cleveland and experiencing some of what the CLE has to offer.  This trip to Cleveland will be a first for us.  Students will build upon prior knowledge of science and history and make real-world connections. We will be investigating local history (Lolly the Trolley/Progressive Field), the natural history museum, and the Great Lakes Science Center.

Trip Cost for Students:  $75.00

Permission Slip and Deposit Due:  April 13, 2020

Trip Itinerary:  

7:45 am   Depart school for Cleveland

8:45 am   Begin at the Power House for a city tour of Cleveland on Lolly the Trolly

10:00 am  Visit the Great Lakes Science Center for the exhibits and a boxed lunch 

1:00 pm   Visit Progressive Field for a tour of the Cleveland Indians stadium

3:00 pm   Visit the Natural History Museum

5:30 pm   Arrive back at school

Behavior restrictions

As listed in the Cloverleaf Middle School Student Handbook: 

“Field Trips: Students who have received four Friday PM detentions, assigned two instances of in-school restriction or have been suspended will not be allowed to take part in field trips including the Washington D.C. field trip. Students not in good academic or attendance standing may be denied participation in all field trips, including the Washington D.C. field trip.”
